Formula used
Annual total = monthly recurring costs × 12 + annual costs + one-off costs for this year. Monthly average = total/12.
Worked example
350 × 12 + 2,400 + 500 = 7,100 for the year, averaging 591.67 per month.
What the result means
Avoid entering a cost both monthly and annually. One-off costs apply only to the year being budgeted.
