How to use EV Cost Per Mile Calculator

Formula used
Cost per distance unit = consumption per 100 units ÷ 100 ÷ charging efficiency × price per kWh.
Worked example
18 kWh per 100 km at 90% charging efficiency and 0.18 per kWh costs 0.036 per km. The unrounded cost is 3.60 per 100 km.
What the result means
Use kWh/100 miles on the per-mile page and kWh/100km on the per-kilometre page. Do not mix the two consumption standards.
