Formula used

EV energy cost = km/100 × kWh/100km × electricity price. Petrol cost = km/100 × L/100km × fuel price.

Worked example

For 1,000 km, 18 kWh/100km at 0.18/kWh costs 32.40. Petrol at 7.5 L/100km and 1.60/L costs 120.00, a difference of 87.60.
